ISCA and Interspeech 2017 are jointly offering grants to students and young scientists, aged 34 and under in order to support their participation in the Interspeech 2017 Conference. Each grant award includes early student registration, a 1-year ISCA student membership and a cash award collected by the recipient at the Conference.
Please note: In order to be eligible for a grant, you will need to be the (co-)author of an accepted paper at Interspeech 2017.

Conditions

The grants for participation in Interspeech 2017 will be administered by ISCA.
The purpose of the grants is to support diversity of scientific topics at the Conference and a wide representation of the international speech science and technology community. Applicants from all countries are eligible to apply and preference will be given to applicants from areas of greater support.

Application Process

Applicants must complete an online application form. Applications will require the following supporting documents:

1. Your curriculum vitae including a complete list of publications;
2. a list of the conferences and workshops you attended previously;
3. the letter of acceptance of paper(s) you will present at the Conference;
4. a copy of the paper(s), submitted to, and accepted by the Conference;
5. a recommendation letter (or email) by your supervisor or the Director of your laboratory.

Applications can be submitted between the Interspeech paper notification date, May 22 and the applicaction deadline at midnight CET, Friday June 2. The application must be submitted using the online application form. Notification of acceptance or otherwise will be sent to applicants by Thursday, June 16.
The deadline for grant applications is strict, and applicants are encouraged to start preparing the required documents early.
